For the first time in a non-European Championship year has UEFA broken the two billion euro revenue barrier. The European football federation got 2099.4 million euro in the box in season 2014/15. An increase by 21 per cent compared to the year before.

More than 80 per cent of UEFA’s revenue is generated through media deals, broadcasters alone having paid 1.69 billion euro for rights to competitions including the Champions League and the qualifiers for Euro 2016.
UEFA had 618 employees in 2014/15 who earn on average 117799 euro a year.
